Welcome to Plainwell High School where students can visit around the world. No need to bring a passport when our local classrooms give an experience at no expense. Students get to wonder whether to bring a coat to their next class or a fan.

Parking in the Arctic Circle, we are surrounded by snow and covered parking spots. This part of the school is one of many that students need to wear a coat. Pack a heater, coat, and fan because commuting in freezing and tropical weather in the span of seven hours is required.

Entering the building of climate change, students are blasted by intense heat. Melting the snow off only for our breath to be seen in our next class. The icy Science and Woodshop hallways are begging to be wrapped up in a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate. The Arctic branch is freezing over as frost covers windows that were once bright and summery. Turn the heater on and wrap up in your coat, its going to be a long shivering class.

Enter the Savannah desert where Math and part of the English hallways are scorching. Burning up with a fever, students are hit with heat waves from uncontrolled heaters and a scorching thermostat. Having hot waves and changing temperatures, there have been rumors going around. Is our school experiencing menopause with these symptoms of hot flashes?

Experience the Niagara Falls as you walk in the sophomore hallway. This tourist attraction provides damaged ceiling and floor tiles that give the feeling of being in the misty mountains. The fan blowing during all hours of the day gives sound effects that bring you to a different place.

Temperature drops as you take a few steps down the English hallways. Take a stroll into the Cafeteria where everyday students estimate the temperature. The History hallway holds mismatched climates when entering different classrooms. Climate change is rising and dropping with no control.

Hiking in the wintry Arctic Circle, walking in the scorching Savannah desert, or trudging through the Niagara Falls brings character to our school. Backpacks are our new suitcases when we can visit different destinations at our local high school.
