People say their phones are their life; if that’s so, then the new iPhone 6 can be considered a whole new existence.

Standing in a line that leads on forever next to random strangers, doing a dance to keep you from wetting yourself while trying to find someone who will be nice enough to save your spot while you go to the bathroom. Then finally, receiving that new, thin, shiny slice of the next generation of handheld devices.

“I would wait in line as long as it takes to get the new iPhone 6,” said Ashley Widner ‘16.

All the internet gossip about the new phone’s debut has to be considered rumors.

“We don’t have any information on the new iPhone 6 we are not allowed any information until the big dogs up top send out the information. So anything online are just simply rumors,” said Woodland Mall Apple sales representative Scott Mahoney.

With all the rumors floating people may be getting confused to what new features may come out on the new iPhone. Some of the most popular and more likely characteristics that could drastically change the current device is that it will be much thinner.

“iPhone 6 rumors currently point to two different iPhone 6 models. One is rumored to be between 4.5 inches and 4.7 inches in size while the other could be around 5.5 inches,” according to gottabemobile.com

It is rumored that the reborn device will come out sometime in the fall 2014. It has said that the smaller 4.5 inch and 4.7 inch phones will come out in August and the 5.5 inch phone will come out in September.

The recent gossip about the iPhones software is that there may be an ios 8 coming out with the iPhone 6. The software is supposedly only available for the iPhones 4 and later.

The speculation of ios 8 is that there will be new emojis available for iMessage. Also the software will add a new Healthbook app that can track steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned, and weight loss.

But remember anything read online about the iPhone 6 and ios 8 can only just be speculation and rumors. We’ll all just have to wait to stand in that line.
