Hammer smashing, gods clashing: Thor and his hammer of destiny are at it again in the new movie, Thor The Dark World.

In the new Thor movie, he will face his greatest enemy yet. Thor will have to reunite with his untrustworthy brother Loki, and his earthly girlfriend Jane Foster, to stop the darkness from happening.

Through this adventure they will face an enemy that is older than this universe and is known as Malekith. Malekith is out to seek revenge and take the nine realms into darkness.

This film is directed by Alen Taylor. The cast of Thor The Dark World: Chris Hemsworth(Thor), Natalie Portman(Jane Foster), Tom Hiddleston(Loki), Anthony Hopkins(Odin), Christopher Eccleston(Malekith).

“I think that Thor The Dark World won’t be as popular as the other Avenger movies because there are more likable characters like Iron Man and Captain America,” said Alex Scholten ‘14.

“The second Thor movie will be much more popular than the first because we know more about Thor from The Avengers,” said science teacher,Scott  Evans.

“We are calling in more staff than usual on opening night of Thor The Dark world because we are expecting it to be a big hit,” said Joey Vandenberg from m-89 theater.

Thor The Dark World opened in theaters Nov. 8 and is rated PG-13 for sequences of intense sci-fi action and violence, and some suggestive content.
