Cookie Cook ’26 is not just a beloved Plainwell High School senior; They are also the author, illustrator, and creator of the comic series November Skies. Cook is known throughout the school for their kindness and eagerness to make new friends.

They have been working on comics for eight years and have a lot to show for it. During an interview they said “It was the spring break of my 4th grade year when I was doodling in a sketchbook, I made a window pane and doodled around it, soon I had my first OC, it looked like an emoji”

Cook has had plenty of support surrounding their comics, the artist shared that “my childhood best friends, Ms. Flynn from the middle school, Ms. McKinley, Mrs. Fuller, and some kids I adopted in choir, all helped me not give up on my self or my comic series”
